How do I register my child?

Registration for the 2025/2026 school year will begin February 1st, 2025. Your child needs to be 3 years old by August 31, 2025 to be eligible to register for preschool at the Weymouth Early Childhood Center. The first step is to register through the Family Connection website; this can be done starting today!

Beginning February 1st you may call the school between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to set up an appointment to complete the second part of registration. Appointments will be held after February vacation and will be 20 minutes in length. All required documents and forms are listed on the Registration tab of the WPS website and you will need to bring a $50 non-refundable registration fee in the form of cash, check or money order.

Is there a fee?

Although we are part of the Weymouth Public Schools, we are a tuition-based program. Tuition is based on the program that is selected. The 2024/2025 tuition schedule is listed under the “Tuition Tab”; tuition might be increased for the 2025/2026 school year and will be available later in the spring.

Tuition payments can be made in a lump sum at the beginning of the school year or broken into 10 equal payments and paid the first of the month September through June. We do not have discounts for siblings and we do not accept vouchers.

We have the following programs:

5 full days (M-F)
3 Full days (T/W/TH or M/T/TH)
2 full days (W/F) - these programs are mixed ages.
3 half days (M/W/F mornings) - 3 year olds
2 half days (T/TH mornings) - 3 years old ONLY
4 half days (M/W/TH/F afternoons)

All programs are taught by Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensed Special Education Teachers and are supported by an ESP (Educational Support Personnel).
